Russell joined FluidOne in 2018 before leading an MBO that acquired the business a year later. His long-term vision is to build the best quality provider of Connected Cloud solutions, bringing together technologies across IT, Cyber Security, Unified Communications, Connectivity and Mobile. This approach enables customers to create multi-cloud and multi-connected environments that are secure and simple for them to use whilst delivering a fantastic customer experience from end-user to application.
Having started his career as an accountant over 30 years ago, he has been involved in IT and Telecoms since 1994. A major part of his career has focused on bringing together innovative, service-led technology businesses, including over 25 acquisitions. Each time, his objective is to deliver joined-up solutions to customers backed by world-class customer service and outstanding employee culture.
By focusing on organic growth and a targeted acquisition strategy, Russell has led FluidOne's transformation from a market-leading network aggregator into one of the UK's foremost IT and Cyber-led managed services businesses, underpinned by great quality connectivity and communications solutions.
With a long-term growth vision that will take FluidOne beyond 2030, Russell has enabled the company to quadruple in size since he joined whilst achieving a market-leading Net Promoter Score (NPS) of 89 (as of April 2024). Since May 2018, its NPS has more than doubled, a true testament to the company's commitment to improve and drive customer
