Experience
Since 1986, Mr. von Welczeck has transacted business in 22 different Countries spanning 5 Continents.
In 2006 he Co-founded SOLAR POWER PARTNERS ("SPP"_, acquired by NRG in 2010), and as CEO from 2007-09 his team pioneered PPA based DG PV financing, completing three different ITC tax equity solar funds.
In 2010-11 he conceived & originated the "Solar Deal of the Year" for CONCENTRIX (now SOITEC) with 305MW of PPAs for SDG&E.
He has served in both domestic and international (EU) management and executive marketing & sales capacities at THYSSEN-KRUPP, DOVER, DORMA, and FRIENDLYWAY.
He lived and worked in Europe (UK, Germany) from 1990–2001.
Mr. von Welczeck is a University of San Francisco (USF) business graduate (BSBA,1985), and is a member of the Construction Specification Institute (CSI), and the Sierra Club.
