Mr. Omar Bilani is a seasoned Senior Executive in the insurance and reinsurance industry with more than 40 years of experience in the MENA region, and GCC countries in particular. He has held executive positions in different insurance and reinsurance companies throughout these years in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA), United Arab Emirates (UAE), Lebanon, Turkey, South Africa, and the United Kingdom (UK).
Over the past 10 years Mr. Bilani has demonstrated high versatility and strategic depth by leading a renowned multi-cultural insurance group present in multiple jurisdictions in the region. He combines in depth operational and strategic understanding and vision as CEO and Chairman in different companies across different regulatory environments while ensuring proper risk based governance of all companies under management.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree (“BA”) in Business Economics from the American University of Beirut (1981) and a Master’s degree in Business Administration (“MBA”) from the Lebanese American University, Beirut, Lebanon (1985).
