Dr Lamptey is the founding President and CEO of Envaserv Research Consult (ERC) Ltd., a leading multidisciplinary ISO certified (ISO 9001:2015) environmental consultancy and ISO accredited (ISO/IEC 17025:2017) environmental laboratory testing company in Ghana, Africa. He spent the last 20 years in the field of academics, environmental management, business development and local governance; creating a unique blend of academic, business, and politics.

He is an experienced Environmental and Social Scientist with a demonstrated consultancy history in specialised and multi-disciplinary environmental services in diverse industries including oil & gas, mining, agriculture etc. Skillset include water/effluent, soil/sediment quality & contamination, marine and onshore baseline studies, biodiversity and ecosystem services, ecological capital studies, emissions and air quality modelling. Additionally focuses on emerging markets’ business development.

In 2021, Dr. Emmanuel Lamptey, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Envaserv Research Consult, won the Most Respected CEO Award at the Industry Awards in Accra. The Ghanaian public voted him the Most Respected CEO in the Environmental Consultancy Category for the 2021 Ghana Industry CEOs Awards.

In March 2022, Dr. Lamptey was also recognized for his professional accomplishments, and was inducted into the prestigious Corporate Ghana Hall of Fame at a ceremony held at Movenpick Ambassador Hotel in Accra, Ghana.
