Frantz Wallenborn was born and raised in Luxembourg. He grew up around cars and trucks, and in 1985 he began working for Wallenborn Transports S.A., a company established back in 1920 by his grandfather. Frantz started at the “bottom of the food chain” and worked his way through all departments before eventually being promoted to Operations Manager and beyond. In 1998 Frantz took over the company and quickly decided to focus on several core values notably integrity, quality and reliability. These values aligned with market expectations so the customer portfolio began to grow as did the scale and scope of Wallenborn’s operations. Frantz identified early the potential benefits of globalisation and positioned Wallenborn as a pioneer in air cargo RFS. This paved the way for Wallenborn’s business trajectory in terms of product development and network growth. Today the organisation serves customers in more than seventy countries. The company thrived because he adapted to understand the differences in expectations of customers across Europe, Africa, China, the Middle East, Russia, USA and many other parts of the world. He simultaneously built an adaptable organisation that can anticipate and respond to diverse and changing demands and business practices..
Frantz speaks fluent Luxembourgish, French, German and English. In his spare time he loves to race cars and spend time with his family.
