Theresa is the Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer, and Corporate Secretary of Steel Dynamics, Inc, since May 2007. Ms. Wagler joined the Steel Dynamics corporate finance team in 1998, and has held various positions, including Treasurer, Chief Accounting Officer, and Vice President and Corporate Controller. She is responsible for and oversees accounting and taxation, treasury, risk management, legal, information technology and cybersecurity, human resources, sustainability and decarbonization strategy, and strategic business development functions, as well as, financial planning and analysis, investor relations, and corporate communications. Ms. Wagler also has various operational responsibilities, directly overseeing several organic operating growth investments and several operating joint ventures. Prior to joining Steel Dynamics, Ms. Wagler was a certified public accountant with Ernst & Young LLP. In addition, Ms. Wagler serves as a director, chair of the audit committee, and a member of the environmental sustainability and community committee of CF Industries Holdings, Inc., a public company and leading global manufacturer of hydrogen and nitrogen products for clean energy, emissions abatement, fertilizer, and other industrial applications.. Ms. Wagler also serves as a director for Trine University and for the Metals Service Center Institute. She is personally involved in numerous charitable and community organizations, with a focus toward areas that benefit children through education, growth opportunities, and services.
