Babatunde was also invited by FGN through Raw Material Research Council with other eminent scientist to deliberate on Nigeria production of “Precipitated Calcium Carbonate” first of its kind in Africa in September 2011 From 1998 when he took over as the Managing Director of Glister Success Limited, he has integrated the company to a full fledge solid mineral mining and processing company with four factories in four state of the federation. The company became one of the biggest producer of best and purest calcium carbonate in Nigeria. Sir, Bamidele Babatunde in 2010, through his company, Glister Success Limited pioneered the production of micronized calcium carbonate for high precision industrial applications. The company also commenced production of high grade coated calcium carbonate for cable metal and plastic pipes industries in 2012, this is first of its kind in West Africa. Chief Bamidele Babatunde through sheer dedication to duty and dexterity steered the mantle of leadership of Glister Success Ltd in 2011 to win the award for Best Calcium Carbonate Producer in Sub-Sahara Africa by Institute for Government Research and Leadership Technology, Abuja His previous honours, awards and positions include: Treasurer, LESA 1985/86, Industrial Engineering Students Merit Award 1989, Pan – African Medal of Merit for Professional Integrity and Productivity by the Pan-African International News Magazine, May 2009, Eminent African Leadership Merit Award, Abuja by Topleaders Magazine. Men of Achievement Award by Corporate Press Services Inc. Lagos and Intra-Continental Media Network Platinum Award-Nov. 2009, Accra Ghana. In 2013 he was honoured with kwame Nkrumah Leadership Award by All African Student Union. The African Leader of Integrity Merit Award, Lome-Togo in April 2015 by Integrity International Magazine. He was inducted to National Association of Nigerian students (NANS) Hall of Fame in October 2009 with NANS Platinum Award for Individual Giant Honour. Engr Babatunde Bamidele is a fellow of Institute of Strategic Managers, Ghana and member. Investment Management and Research Institute,Nigeria. He was conferred with the title of Grand Commander of Christian Faith by African Church Ifako Diocese in November, 2009. Sir, (Chief) Babatunde Bamidele Anjorin is the Agba-Akin of Igbetiland, Oyo State. He is happily married and blessed with children.
