Over these years the company has grown into the largest construction holding in the country. The company combines two key business areas: Real estate development and construction Production of building materials As a real estate developer LSR Group carries out projects in all segments of the real estate market: from mass market neighbourhoods to luxury homes designed by the leading domestic and foreign architects. The company’s pre-fabricated factories in St. Petersburg and Yekaterinburg produce 1 million m2 of housing per annum. Our business units are engaged in extraction and production of all basic building materials including sand, crushed granite, ready-mix concrete, reinforced concrete, aerated concrete and bricks. The company’s business is concentrated in three largest regions of Russia: St. Petersburg and the Leningrad region, Moscow and the Moscow region, Yekaterinburg. The ordinary shares of LSR Group are traded on MICEX-RTS, its global depositary receipts (GDRs) – on London Stock Exchange (LSE). LSR Group is actively involved in charity programmes aimed to lend a helping hand to the people in need as well as to restore and preserve Russia’s cultural heritage. We treat our charity activities as an investment into human capital assets, improvement of social environment and living standards in our key regions of presence: St. Petersburg and the Leningrad region, Moscow and the Moscow region, Yekaterinburg and the Sverdlovsk region. Education: In 1991, he graduated from the Economics Faculty of St Petersburg State University, majoring in Political Economy, Ph. D. in Economics. Experience: In 1991–1993 — Teacher in the Economics Faculty of St Petersburg State University. In 1992–1993 — Commercial agent of Frezi Grant JSC. In 1993–1999 — General Director of Rossi CJSC. In 1999–2004 — General Director of Corporation S LLC. In 2004–2009 — Chairman of the Committee on Investments and Strategic Projects of the Government of St Petersburg. In 2009 — Member of the Government of St Petersburg, Chairman of the Committee for Economic Development, Industrial Policy and Trade. In 2009–2012 — Director of the Department of Industry and Infrastructure of the Government of the Russian Federation. In 2012–2018 — Minister of Transport of the Russian Federation.
