After years of experience working in business change as a Management Consultant, both with Andersen Consulting and with his own company Xayce, Peter saw first-hand the challenges UK organisations faced when resourcing change programmes. Peter set out to offer a more sustainable way to deliver change and disrupt the industry, and in 2012 Grayce was founded. Under Peter’s leadership, Grayce finds the smartest graduate talent with competences and attributes needed for a successful career in change and transformation. This knowledge of what makes a successful change practitioner is the bedrock of Grayce’s selection process and the reason why over 90% of client introductions are successful. Grayce works with UK organisations to understand their change agenda and offers a high quality yet lower cost resource solution. The volumes of applicants wanting to join Grayce has significantly increased, in 2016 Grayce received 1600 applications yet in January to May this year there were over 3000 applications. Grayce is fast becoming the programme of choice for talented graduates. Longstanding client relationships from Grayce’s early days continue, with Grayce described as ‘the leading provider of change capability’. One of Grayce’s largest clients has deployed over 100 Analysts in to the business since 2013. Whilst Peter focused the team on growing the business in the short term, he remained committed to driving Grayce’s long term growth and expansion. In July of this year, Peter successfully secured backing and investment from Literacy Capital, to help Grayce broaden its services and support the careers of hundreds of business change professionals. The investment in to the business has seen an increase of people in the HQ team, in order to keep up with both applicant and client demand. Peter remains a driven leader, helping to broker relationships with leading blue-chip clients and was most recently responsible for securing one of the UK’s largest banking groups, as a client. It’s clear that Peter and the team at Grayce are making waves in an industry where change was needed most. Grayce’s accelerated growth and investment is testament to Peter’s founding principles when setting up the company, a belief that talented people can make an impact and that there is a better way to deliver change.
